TUCSON SHUTS GUASAVE OFF
Guasave, Sinaloa, November 24, 2025 (TBT Press Release) – Tucson shut out Guasave in the first game of the series, defeating them 4-0 in the opening game of the second half of the 2025-2026 ARCO Mexican Pacific League season.
The game quickly tilted in Tucson's favor, with River Town scoring in the bottom of the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Agustín Ruiz.
The home team extended their lead in the bottom of the third, putting together a three-run rally. Agustín Ruiz drove in Jesús Fabela with a single, Donny Sands drove in Samar Leyva for the second run of the inning, and Gaige Howard followed with another single, bringing Ruiz home for a 4-0 lead.
Zoé Carrillo pitched a great game, going 6 innings with 3 strikeouts and 5 walks, without allowing a run. His ERA dropped to 2.88, earning him the win tonight.
The loss was charged to Miguel Peña, who only lasted 2.1 innings and gave up 4 runs.
TUCSON DEJA EN CEROS A GUASAVE
Guasave, Sin., 24 de noviembre 2025 (Prensa TBT).- Tucson aplica blanqueada a Guasave en el primer encuentro de la serie, venciendolos 4-0 en el inicio de la segunda vuelta de la temporada 2025-2026 de la liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico.
El encuentro rápidamente se inclinó hacia el lado de Tucson, al anotar en el cierre de la primera entrada anotando River Town con elevado de sacrificio de Agustín Ruiz.
La ventaja se amplió para los locales administrativos en el cierre de la tercera, concretando rally de 3 anotaciones que llegaron por gotero. Agustín Ruiz con sencillo prodice la primera en los spikes de Jesus Fabela, Donny Sands impulsa a Samar Leyva la segunda del episodio y Gaige Howard también con hit sencillo, manda a Agustín Ruiz al pentágono para el 4-0.
Zoé Carrillo lanzó gran juego y se mantuvo 6 entradas en la lomita, lanzando pelota de 3 ponches y 5 bases sin permitir carrera bajando su efectividad a 2.88, apuntándose la victoria esta noche.
La derrota la cargó Miguel Peña que solo se mantuvo 2.1 entradas recibiendo 4 carreras.
