TUCSON MAKES HISTORY BY SCORING ITS FIRST SWEEP OF THE SEASON

Guasave, Sinaloa, October 23, 2025 (TBT Press) - Tucson Baseball Team recorded its first sweep in franchise history with a 3-0 victory over Guasave, thus securing the entire series at the home of the Sinaloans.

Additionally, tonight, Tucson Baseball Team infielder Misael Rivera is playing his 300th game in the ARCO Mexican Pacific League, a historic night for the Guasave, Sinaloa native, who also collected a hit in the game.

Tucson was in charge of getting the party going, scoring a pair of runs in the opening game. The first was driven in by José Carlos Ureña, scoring Gaige Howard, and the second was scored by Ramón Mendoza on a wild pitch by Jeff Kinley. This gave the Tucson team a 2-0 lead in the game.

In the top of the eighth, Alexis Wilson singled to right field, scoring Gaige Howard with the third run for Tucson, making it 3-0.

In the ninth, Willie Romero sent Charlie Hasty to the mound to take the final three outs of the game. He retired the ninth inning on three men, giving Tucson a 3-0 victory over the Algodoneros de Guasave.

Zoé Carrillo earned his second win of the season, pitching five innings, striking out two, and walking four without allowing a run.

The loss went to Jeff Kinley, who pitched three and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs without striking out a single.

TUCSON HACE HISTORIA AL ANOTARSE SU PRIMER BARRIDA EN LA TEMPORADA

Guasave, Sin., 23 de octubre 2025 (Prensa TBT).- Tucson Baseball Team se anota su primer limpia en la historia de la franquicia al ganar 3-0 a Guasave, para de esta manera quedarse con la serie completa en la casa de los sinaloenses.

Además, esta noche, el infielder de Tucson Baseball Team, Misael Rivera, está jugando su partido número 300 en la Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico, noche de historia para el oriundo de Guasave, Sinaloa, que además conectó un hit en el encuentro.

Tucson fue el encargado de poner la fiesta en la pizarra, anotando un par de carreras en la apertura, la primera impulsada por José Carlos Ureña anotando Gaige Howard y la segunda la anotó Ramón Mendoza en pitcheo descontrolado de Jeff Kinley, de esta manera el equipo de Tucson se puso arriba 2-0 en el encuentro.

En la apertura del octavo, Alexis Wilson conectó sencillo al jardín derecho, llevándose por delante a Gaige Howard con la tercera anotación para la causa de Tucson, moviendo la pizarra 3-0 a su favor.

Para la novena tanda, Willie Romero mandó a la loma a Charlie Hasty para hacerse cargo del últimos 3 outs del encuentro, que en 3 hombres retiró la novena, dándole con esto la victoria a Tucson 3-0 sobre Algodoneros de Guasave.

Zoé Carrillo logró su segunda victoria de la campaña al lanzar por espacio de 5 completas ponchando a 2 y regalando 4 bases sin permitir carrera.

La derrota se la llevó Jeff Kinley que trabajó por espacio de 3 y 2 tercios, con 2 carreras admitidas sin ponchar a nadie.
