TUCSON FALLS TO LOS MOCHIS BY A SINGLE SCORE
Los Mochis, Sinaloa, October 31, 2025 (TBT Press) – The Arizona team fell 2-1 tonight to their Sinaloa counterparts, the Cañeros de Los Mochis, in the first game of the series, with Tucson serving as the designated home team.
Despite Tucson putting the game on the board in the bottom of the first inning, the were unable to add to their tally and stumbled tonight in Sinaloa.
Jesús Fabela hit his second home run of the season off a pitch from Miranda, the Cañeros' starting pitcher.
The Cañeros scored a run in the second inning, also on a home run by Josh Rehwaldt, his third of the year in the green uniform. The game remained tied until the seventh inning, when catcher Juan Uriarte scored the go-ahead and winning run on a groundout to center field by Isaac Rodríguez.
The win in the first game of the series went to Miguel Angel León in relief, with Daniel Correa recording the save, while Eduardo Mares took the loss.
Tomorrow, Tucson will look to even the three-game series being played in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

Los Mochis, Sin., 31 de octubre 2025 (Prensa TBT).- Al son de 2 carreras a 1, el equipo del sur de Arizona cayó esta noche ante su homólogo del norte de Sinaloa, los Cañeros de Los Mochis en el primero de la serie que Tucson juega como local administrativo.
A pesar de ser Tucson quien puso fiesta en la pizarra al cierre de primer capítulo, no pudo fabricar más careras en el encuentro y tropezó esta noche en Sinaloa.
Jesús Fabela conectó su segundo cuadrangular de la temporada ante los envíos de Miranda, el abridor de Cañeros.
Por su parte, cañeros anotó una en la segunda entrada también con homerun de Josh Rehwaldt, su tercero del año con la casaca verd.
El juego se mantuvo empatado hasta la séptima tanda, anotando la de la ventaja y de la victoria, el cátcher Juan Uriarte con rola de Isaac Rodríguez al jardín central.
La victoria en el primero de la serie fue para Miguel Angel León en labor de relevo, apuntándose el salvamento Daniel Correa, mientras que la derrota se le apuntó a Eduardo Mares.
Mañana, Tucson buscará emparejar la serie de tres encuentros que se lleva a cabo en Los Mochis, Sinaloa.
