TUCSON FALLS BY A SMALL DIFFERENCE AGAINST AGUILAS

Cd. Obregón, Son., December 3, 2025 (TBT Press).- The Tucson Baseball Team fell tonight in Ciudad Obregón against the Aguilas de Mexicali in the first game of the series in Sonora, with a close score of 4-3.

Tonight, the scoreboard at Estadio Yaquis opened for the Tucson team, who managed to cross home plate twice in the bottom of the first inning.

The first run to reach home plate was River Town, who scored on a single by Misael Rivera. The second run for the Tucson team came on Misael Rivera's spikes, driven in by a single from Gaige Howard.

The game remained in favor of the team managed by Matías Carrillo until the beginning of the fifth inning, when the Aguilas tied the game with Norberto Obeso and Moisés Gutiérrez scoring on a single by Cade Gotta and a sacrifice fly by Yadir Drake, all against starter Zoé Carrillo.

In the top of the sixth, Mexicali took the lead when Norberto Obeso scored on a single by Moisés Gutiérrez, who reached 250 hits in the ARCO Mexican Pacific League that night.

Tucson responded quickly and in the bottom of the same inning, scored a run to tie the game again, this time at 3 apiece. Ramón Mendoza scored the tying run on a hit by Samar Leyva, who advanced to second base on a throw by shortstop Alex Mexia.

In the ninth inning, Mexicali took the lead with a triple by Yadir Drake off Garret Alexander, driving in Ren Tachioka to make it 4-3.

In the bottom of the ninth, Tucson attacked with two big hits that were easily dealt with by the Mexicali defense, ending the team's hopes of a comeback.

Zoé Carrillo received a no-decision, while the loss was charged to Garret Alexander. The win went to reliever Jake Sánchez, and Jesús Cruz earned the save.

 A doubleheader will be played tomorrow in Ciudad Obregón to conclude this series in Sonora.

TUCSON CAE POR LA MINIMA CONTRA AGUILAS

Cd. Obregón, Son., 03 de diciembre 2025 (Prensa TBT).- El Tucson Baseball Team cayó esta noche en Ciudad Obregón al enfrentar a Aguilas de Mexicali en el primero de la serie desde tierras sonorensescon ajustada pizarra 4-3.

Esta noche la pizarra del Estadio Yaquis se abrió primero para el equipo de Tucson, que logró pisar en par de ocasiones el plato en el cierre del primer inning.

El primero en llegar a tierra prometida fue el extranjero River Town, que llegó a home gracias a hit sencillo de Misael Rivera, la segunda carrera para el equipo de Tucson llegó en los spikes de Misael Rivera impulsado por sencillo productor de Gaige Howard.

El juego se mantuvo en favor de la escuadra comandada por Matías Carrillo hasta el inicio del quinto rollo, capítulo en el cual los Aguilas lograron empatar el encuentro anotando Norberto Obeso y Moisés Gutiérrez gracias a sencillo de Cade Gotta y a elevado de sacrificio de Yadir Drake, todo esto aún sobre los envíos del abridor Zoé Carrillo.

En la alta de la sexta, Mexicali sepuso al frente del encuentro al anotar Norberto Obeso con sencillo de Moisés Gutiérrezque esta noche llegó a 250 hits en la liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico.

Tucson respondió rápidamente y en el cierre del mismo inning, anotó una carrera paraempatar de nuevo el encuentro, esta vez a 3 por bando.

Ramón Mendoza anotó la carrera de la igualada en batazo de Samar Leyva, que avanzó a segunda base en al tiro del campo corto Alex Mexia.

En la novena entrada, Mexicali se adelante con triple de Yadir Drake ante Garret Alexander, que manda a Ren Tachioka a la registradora para el 4-3.

En el cierre de la novena, Tucson atacó con 2 grandes batazos que fueron dominados por la defensa cachanilla poniendo fin a las aspiraciones del equipo a regresar en el marcador.

Zoé Carrillo salió sin decisión mentras que la derrota se cargó a la cuenta de Garret Alexander. La victoria se la llevó el relevista Jake Sánchez y el salvamento Jesús Cruz.

Mañana doble cartelera desde Ciudad Obregón para finalizar esta serie en tierras sonorenses.
