TUCSON DEFEATS JAGUARES IN THE FIRST GAME OF THE SERIES AT THE COLOSSUS OF THE PACIFIC
Tepic, Nayarit, December 9, 2025 (TBT Press) – Tucson got off to a winning start in Nayarit, defeating Jaguares 5-4.
The scoring opened in the top of the third inning when Jaguares scored a run on a single by Jacob Rhinesmith.
In the fourth inning, Nayarit extended their lead to 3-0 when Niko Vázquez and Aarón Zavala scored on a hit by José Heberto Félix.
The Jaguars added another run to lead off the fifth inning when Jacob Rhinesmith scored on a fielder's choice off a ground ball by veteran Jesús Castillo.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, with two runners on base, Gaige Howard hit a game-winning double, driving in Alejandro Quezada and Alexis Wilson. Howard then scored himself on a fielding error by center fielder Aarón Zavala, bringing the score to 4-3.
In the seventh inning, Tucson took the lead, scoring twice on a powerful triple by Agustín Ruiz, his second of the season, which brought home River Town and Jesús Fabela, who were on base.
In the ninth, Charlie Hasty took control, and after issuing a walk, he dominated the opposing team to secure the save.
T-TOWN VENCE A JAGUARES EN EL PRIMERO DE LA SERIE DESDE EL COLOSO DEL PACIFICO
Tepic, Nayarit, 09 de Diciembre 2025 (TBT Press) – Tucson comienza con el pié derecho en Nayarit y obtiene la victoria al son de 5 carreras por 4 ante Jaguares.
El marcador se abrió en la parte alta de la tercera entrada cuando Jaguares anotó una carrera impulsada por sencillo de Jacob Rhinesmith.
En la cuarta tanda la ventaja se amplió para Nayarit 3-0, cuando anotaron Niko Vázquez y Aarón Zavala con hit de José Heberto Félix.
Una carrera más para los felinos cayó al abrir la tanda del quinto episodio, anotando Jacob Rhinesmith en jugada de selección a batazo del veterano Jesús Castillo.
En el cierre de la misma quinta entrada y con dos compañeros en base, Gaige Howard logró conectar doblete bueno para que sus compañeros Alejandro Quezada y Alexis Wilson anotaran, haciendo lo propio el mismo Howard en error de fildeo del jardinero central Aarón Zavala, acercándose de esta manera 4-3 en la pizarra.
En el lucky seven, Tucson le dio la vuelta al encuentro anotando en par de ocasiones con contundente triple de Agustín Ruiz, su segundo de la temporada, llevándose por delante a River Town y Jesús Fabela que deambulaban en los senderos.
En la novena, Charlie Hasty salió mandón y después de regalar una base, supo dominar al contrario, para quedarse con el salvamento.
