MEXICALI SHUTS OUT TUCSON IN SERIES FINAL GAME
Mexicali, BC, November 20, 2025 (TBT Press) – The Mexicali Eagles secured the series at home with an 8-0 victory over Tucson in the penultimate series of the first half of the ARCO Mexican Pacific League season.
The deadlock wasn't broken until the fourth inning, when Mexicali scored the first run of the game on a single by Bobby Bradley. Alejandro Flores drove in the second run with a sacrifice fly, and Julián León singled home Bobby Bradley with the third run of the inning.
In the top of the sixth, the scoreboard moved again, increasing Mexicali's lead over Tucson.
After a sacrifice bunt by Moisés Gutiérrez, Bobby Bradley scored on a throwing error by catcher Alexis Wilson. Julián León singled to drive in another run, and Ren Tachioka followed with a double to bring Mexicali up 6-0.
In the top of the eighth, Yadir Drake hit an RBI double, scoring Moisés Gutiérrez and Ren Tachioka for the final score of 8-0.
Jorge Sauceda (0-4) took the loss, his fourth of the season, while David Reyes (3-2) earned the win.
Tucson travels to Hermosillo to face the Naranjeros in the final series of the first half of the regular season.
MEXICALI BLANQUEA A TUCSON EN EL ULTIMO DE LA SERIE
Mexicali, BC, 20 de noviembre de 2025 (Prensa TBT).- Aguilas de Mexiali aseguró la serie en el Nido al vencer 8-0 a Tucson en la penúltima serie de la primera vuelta de la Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico.
No fué si no hasta la cuarta entrada enq ue se rompió el cero, anotando Mexicali la primer carrera del encuentro con sencillo de Booby Bradle. Alejandro Flores con elevado de sacrificio produce la segunda y Julián León con sencillo manda a Bobby Bradley al pentágono con la tercer rayita del inning.
En la parte alta de la sexta, se movió de nuevo el marcadoraumentando la ventaja de Mexicali sobre Tucson.
Después de toque de sacrificio de Moisés Gutiérrez, Bobby Bradley logra anotar gracias al mal tiro del receptor Alexis Wilson, Julián León conecta sencillo que produce una más y Ren Tachioka con doblete produce una más para poner la pizarra 6-0 en favor de Mexicali.
En la parte alta de la octava, Yadir Drake conectó doblete productor, que envió a Moisés Gutiérrez y Ren Tachioka a la registradora para el 8-0 definitivo.
Jorge Sauceda (0-4) se llevó la derrota, su cuarta esta temporada mientras que David Reyes (3-2) se llevó la victoria esta noche.
Tucson viaja a Hermosillo para enfrentar a Naranjeros en la última serie de la primer vuelta del rol regular.
