HISTORIC FIRST WIN FOR TUCSON IN THE ARCO MEXICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE
Hermosillo, Sonora, October 17, 2025 (TBT Press) - The historic first victory for the Tucson team came today thanks to Raúl Zoé Carrillo, who earned his first win of the season by defeating Naranjeros de Hermosillo 5-1 in the first game of the regular season series against Naranjeros de Hermosillo.
The Tucson team opened the scoring in the first inning with an RBI by Ramón Mendoza, with Gaige Howard scoring the first run of the season.
Hermosillo tied the game in the opening inning with a run scored by TT Owens thanks to his first home run of the season off Zoé Carrillo.
In the bottom of the third inning, Tucson scored twice to make the score 3-1 in their favor. José Carlos Ureña's single drove in both runs, scoring Agustín Ruiz and Bobby Bradley.
Two more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning gave Willie Romero's team another lead. After a walk to Alexis Wilson, a hit by Edgar Lugo, and a hit to Agustín Ruíz, the tables were set with a bases loaded, coming in on a horse thanks to a walk to Jesús Fabela. Gaige Howard's sacrifice fly scored Edgar Lugo the fifth run of the game for Tucson, leaving the score 5-1, which would ultimately be the final score.
Raúl Carrillo earned his first win of the season, pitching five complete runs, giving up one walk, allowing one run, and lowering his ERA to 1.80.
Eduardo Vera took the loss, working 2.2 innings with five walks and three earned runs allowed.

Hermosillo, Son., 17 de octubre 2025 (Prensa TBT).- La histórica primer victoria para el equipo de Tucson llegó este día de la mano de Raúl Zoé Carrillo quien se apuntó su primer victoria de la campaña al vencer 5-1 a Naranjeros de Hermosillo en el primero de la serie de rol regular contra Naranjeros de Hermosillo
El equipo de Tucson comenzó abriendo la pizarra en el mismo primer inning con una anotación producida por Ramón Mendoza, anotado Gaige Howard la de la quiniela.
Hermosillo empató el encuentro al abrir el segundo episodio con carrera anotada por TT Owens gracias a su primer homerun de la campaña ante los envíos de Zoé Carrillo.
En el cierre del tercer rollo, Tucson anotó en par de ocasiones para poner el marcador 3-1 a su favor. José Carlos Ureña con sencillo produce las dos, anotando Agustín Ruiz y Bobby Bradley.
Dos carreras más en el cierre del cuarto episodio dieron más ventaja a la escuadra de Willie Romero. Después de base a Alexis Wilson, hit de Edgar Lugo y golpe a Agustín Ruíz, la mesa quedó servida con casa llena, entrando de caballito gracias a pasaporte para Jesús Fabela. Gaige Howard eleva de sacrificio anotando Edgar Lugo la quinta carrera del encuentro para Tucson, dejando marcador 5-1 que a la postre sería el marcador final.
