HERMOSILLO TIES THE SERIES IN THE CAPITAL OF SONORA

Hermosillo, Sonora, October 18, 2025 (TBT Press) - Tonight, the Hermosillo Naranjeros earned a resounding 13-6 victory over the Tucson Baseball Team in the second game of the first series of the 2025-2026 regular season, tying the series.

Dalton Rodríguez took the loss, pitching 4.2 innings in which he allowed 6 runs, walked 2, and didn't strike out a single, leaving his ERA at 11.3.

The win went to Orange reliever Augusto Mendieta, who lasted 2.1 innings on the mound after the departure of first baseman Erich Uelmen, who allowed 5 runs in 1.2 innings.

Tucson opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with two runs by Agustín Ruiz and Jesús Fabela, driven in by singles by Gaige Howard and Ramón Mendoza, respectively. The visitors turned the score around with three runs in the top of the second inning, but the home team scored the same number of runs in the bottom of the same inning, making it 5-3 in favor of Tucson.

Agustín Ruiz drove in the first with a sacrifice fly, Jesús Fabela produced with an RBI single, and Gaige Howard again produced with a single to center field.

Hermosillo reached home once again in the third inning, and a juicy 5-run rally in the top of the fifth inning put them up 9 to 5.

In the bottom of the seventh, Tucson closed the gap to 9-6 when Misael Rivera scored on a sacrifice fly by José Carlos Ureña.

Hermosillo scores 2 more in the eighth and finishes with 1 in the opening of the ninth inning with a wild pitch to put the final score at 13-6.

HERMOSILLO EMPATA LA SERIE EN LA CAPITAL SONORENSE

Esta noche los Naranjeros de Hermosillo se apuntaron la victoria con abultado marcador de 13-6 sobre Tucson Baseball Team en el segundo de la primera serie del rol regular de la Temporada 2025-2026 para de esta manera empatar la serie.

Dalton Rodríguez cargó con el descalabro al al lanzar 4.2 entradas en las que permitió 6 carreras, regalo 2 bases y no poncho a nadie, dejando su porcentaje de efectividad en 11.3.

La victoria por su parte fue para el relevista naranja Augusto Mendieta quien se mantuvo 2.1 entradas sobe la lomita después de la salida del inicialista Erich Uelmen que permitió 5 anotaciones en 1.2 entradas.

Tucson abrió la pizarra al cierre del primer capítulo con 2 anotaciones de Agustín Ruiz y Jesús Fabela, impulsadas con sencillos de Gaige Howard y Ramón Mendoza respectivamente. La visita le dio la vuelta al marcador con 3 anotaciones en la parte alta del segundo episodio, pero los locales anotaron misma cantidad de carreras en el cierre del mismo capítulo poniendo pizarra de 5-3 en favor de Tucson.

Agustín Ruiz produce la primera con elevado de sacrificio, Jesús Fabela produce con sencillo remolcador y Gaige Howrd de nueva cuenta produce con sencillo al jardín central.

Hermosillo volvió a pisar el pentágono una vez en la tercera y jugoso rally de 5 en la parte alta del quinto episodio los puso arriba 9 carreras por 5.

En la baja de la séptima, Tucson se acerca 9-6 al anotar Misael Rivera con sacrifico de José Carlos Ureña.

Hermosillo anota 2 más en la octava y remata con 1 en la apertura de la novena tanda con wildpitch para poner numeritos finales de 13-6
