CAÑEROS WIN SERIES AGAINST TUCSON
Los Mochis, Sinaloa, November 2, 2025 (TBT Press Release) – Los Mochis swept the series against Tucson, who couldn't contain the green offense in the fifth series of the ARCO Mexican Pacific League regular season, winning the game 7-4.
A moving tribute and show of respect for the victims of the fire and explosion that occurred in Hermosillo the previous day took place in the fifth inning, with both teams and all the fans present at the ballpark participating.
Three runs in the top of the first inning quickly put the Sinaloa team ahead. Rodolfo Amador drove in a run with a double, and Yasmany Tomás reached base on a fielding error by Agustín Ruiz, scoring Eric Filia and Rodolfo Amador on the play.
Alexis Wilson scored one run for Tucson in the second inning with an RBI single, bringing Bobby Bradley home.
Mochis regained the lead, scoring another run in the top of the third on a wild pitch by Eduardo Mares, but Tucson quickly responded with a sacrifice fly by Gaige Howard, scoring Jesús Fabela to make it 4-2.
Cañeros struck again in the fourth inning with another run, this time by Josh Rehwaldt.
Two more runs for Los Mochis came in the fifth inning on Asael Sánchez's fourth home run of the season, which brought Eric Filia home.
In a high-scoring game for both teams, the eighth inning brought two runs for the home team, Tucson Baseball Team. Bobby Bradley drove in one run, and Samar Leyva added another with a single, making the score 7-4. In the ninth inning, the Green team's pitching staff held off the Tucson club's offense, securing a 7-4 victory and taking the series in Sinaloa.
The win went to pitcher Jonás Garibay, who worked 3.1 innings of relief, striking out 3 and walking 1. Danis Correa earned the save, while the loss was charged to starting pitcher Daniel de la Fuente.
CAÑEROS SE LLEVA LA SERIE COMPLETA CONTRA TUCSON
Los Mochis, Sin., 02 de noviembre 2025 (Prensa TBT).-Los Mochis se lleva la serie completa ante Tucson, que no pudo contener la ofensiva verde en la quinta serie del rol regular de la liga ARCO mexicana del Pacífico, ganando el encuentro 7 carreras por 4.
Emotivo homenaje y muestra de respeto a las víctimas del incendio y explosión ocurridas en Hermosillo el día anterior fue el que se llevó a cabo en la quinta entrada, participando ambos equipos y toda la afición presente en el parque de pelota.
3 carreras en la parte alta de la primera entrada para Cañeros pusieron rápidamente en ventaja al equipo sinaloense. Rodolfo Amador impulsa con doblete y Yasmany Tomás se logra embazar en error de fildeo de Agustín Ruiz y en la jugada anotan Eric Filia y Rodolfo Amador.
Alexis Wilson descuenta una para Tucson en el segundo inning al producir con sencillo, anotando Bobby Bradley.
Mochis volvió a recuperar la distancia anotando una más en la apertura del tercer episodio con wildpitch de Eduardo Mares, pero Tucson respondió rápidamente elevado de sacrificio de Gaige Howard, anotando Jesús Fabela para mover la pizarra 4-2.
De nueva cuenta Cañeros volvió y atacó con una carrera más en el cuarto rollo en los spikes de Josh Rehwaldt.
Dos más en la cuenta de Los Mochis se anotaron en la quinta tanda con el cuarto home run de la campaña de Asael Sánchez que se llevó por delante a Eric Filia.
En juego de mucha actividad por ambas escuadras, la octava entrada trajo dos rayitas para los locales Tucson Baseball Team, Bobby Bradley produce una y Samar Leyva con sencillo produce una más para los de Arizona dejando el marcador 7-4.
En la novena entrada, el pitcheo verde mantuvo a raya a la ofensiva del club Tucson, para dejar pizarra 7-4 y de paso llevarse la serie completa en Sinaloa.
La victoria se la llevó el pitcher Jonás Garibay al trabajar 3.1 entradas de relevo con 3 ponches y 1 base, el salvamento de nuevo para Danis Correa mientras que la derrota se la llevó el pitcher abridor Daniel de la Fuente.
