ARCO LEAGUE STRENGTHENS TIES WITH MLB TO STRENGHTEN OUR BASEBALL
New York, NY – With the goal of finding new strategies to strengthen Mexican winter baseball, executives from the ARCO Mexican Pacific League met with Major League Baseball (MLB) officials this Tuesday morning at the North American organization's corporate offices near Manhattan. The league's executive president, Salvador Escobar, was accompanied by the presidents of the Águilas de Mexicali, Naranjeros de Hermosillo, Tucson Baseball Team, Cañeros de Los Mochis, Algodoneros de Guasave, and Jaguares de Nayarit clubs.
During the meeting with MLB Senior Manager Ramon Luciano, Director of International Operations Rebecca Seesel, and Deputy Commissioner and Chief Legal Officer Dan Halem, topics such as the Winter League Agreement were discussed. This agreement provides for a greater presence of players who are actively involved in MLB to play in the ARCO Mexican Pacific League.
The meeting also served as a presentation of the changes LAMP has undergone in recent months, beginning with the arrival of Escobar Cornejo as executive president, as well as the arrival of the Jaguares de Nayarit and the Tucson Baseball Team to our league.
MLB executives learned about the new television broadcasting plan that the ARCO League will have for the 2025-2026 season, merging with MEGA, and maintaining the signal through our YouTube channel, so that fans worldwide can enjoy the best baseball in Mexico.
The ARCO Mexican Pacific League continues to grow, a goal in which Major League Baseball plays a fundamental role. Therefore, it seeks to maintain these strengthened ties in the 2025-2026 season, which begins on October 15.

Nueva York, NY.- Con el fin de encontrar nuevas estrategias para fortalecer el beisbol invernal mexicano, la mañana de este martes, directivos de la Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico se reunieron con dirigentes de Major League Baseball (MLB) en las oficinas corporativas del organismo norteamericano, en las inmediaciones de Manhatan. El presidente ejecutivo de la liga Lic. Salvador Escobar, estuvo acompañado de los presidentes de los clubes Águilas de Mexicali, Naranjeros de Hermosillo, Tucson Baseball Team, Cañeros de Los Mochis, Algodoneros de Guasave y Jaguares de Nayarit.
En la reunión con el Senior Manager de MLB, Ramon Luciano, con la Director International Operations, Rebecca Seesel y con el Deputy Comissioner and Chief Legal Officer, Dan Halem, se trataron temas como el del Winter League Agreement, el cual contempla una mayor presencia de jugadores que tienen participación activa en MLB, para poder ver acción en la Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico.
Además, la reunión sirvió como presentación de los cambios que tuvo la LAMP en los últimos meses, comenzando por la llegada de Escobar Cornejo como presidente ejecutivo, así como la llegada a nuestro circuito de Jaguares de Nayarit y de Tucson Baseball Team.
Los ejecutivos de MLB conocieron el nuevo esquema de transmisión de televisión que tendrá la Liga ARCO en la Temporada 2025-2026, haciendo fusión con MEGA, así como mantener la señal a través de nuestro canal de YouTube, para que, de esta manera, todos los aficionados a nivel mundial puedan disfrutar del mejor beisbol de México.
La Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico continúa en crecimiento, objetivo en el que Major League Baseball juega un papel fundamental, por lo que busca mantener estos lazos fortalecidos en la Temporada 2025-2026, que arranca el próximo 15 de octubre.
