ALGODONEROS WIN WITH NINTH-INNING RALLY
Guasave, Sinaloa, November 25, 2025 (TBT Press) – A six-run rally in the ninth inning gave the Algodoneros de Guasave the victory in a game that remained close for eight innings.
Algodoneros scored first in the top of the second inning with a single by Jorge Flores that drove in his teammate Orlando Piña with the game's first run.
At the start of the third inning, Drew Avans scored the second run of the game on a fielder's choice, with left fielder Phillip Ervin reaching first safely.
In the fifth inning, Tucson took the lead, capitalizing on the bullpen's wildness, which issued four walks in the inning.
River Town scored the first run when Gaige Howard drew a bases-loaded walk, followed by Alexis Wilson's bases-loaded single, driving in Jesús Fabela and Agustín Ruiz to give Tucson a 3-2 lead.
Algodoneros responded in the top of the sixth inning with Jorge Flores scoring on a single by Leo Heras, tying the game at 3 runs apiece.
Tucson took the lead again in the bottom of the sixth when Norman Elenes hit Agustín Ruiz with a pitch, scoring Edgar Lugo, who was on third base.
In the top of the seventh, Guasave tied the game again, this time at 4 runs apiece, with Phillip Ervin scoring on a sacrifice fly to left field by Orlando Piña. In the top of the ninth, the Sinaloa squad attacked Tucson's pitching with a powerful 6-run rally, putting the game on ice at 10-4 and securing the victory, tying the series in Sinaloa.
Garret Alexander took the loss, while the win went to Colombian Luis Moreno.
CON RALLY EN LA NOVENA, ALGODONEROS SE LLEVA LA VICTORIA
Guasave, Sin., 25 de noviembre 2025 (Prensa TBT).- Rally de 6 en la novenale dio la victoria a Algodoneros de Guasave en un juego que se mantuvo en el filo de la navaja durante 8 entradas.
El equipo algodonero anotó primero en la apertura del segundo capítulo con sencillo de Jorge Flores que mandó a su compañero Orlando Piña al plato con la carrera de la quiniela.
Al iniciar el tercer rollo Drew Avans anota la segunda carrera del encuentro en jugada de selección, llegando safe a primera el jardinero izquierdo Phillip Ervin.
En el quinto inning, Tucson le dio la vuelta al encuentro, aprovechando el descontrol del relevo que regaló 4 bases en el capítulo.
River Town anota la primera cuando Gaige Howard recibe pasaporte con las baeses llenas, Alexis Wilson conecta sencillo con las bases llenas, mandando a Jesús Fabela y Agustín Ruiz con la carraras que ondrían arriba a Tucson 3-2.
Algodoneros respondió en la parte alta de la sexta entrada con una anotación en los spikes de Jorge Flores gracias a hit de Leo Heras, empatando el encuentro a 3 carreras por bando.
Tucson se fue arriba de nueva cuenta en el cierre de la misma sexta entrad, esto gracias a la base por golpe de Norman Elenes sobre Agustín Ruíz, anotando Edgar Lugo que estaba en la tercera base.
En la apertura del séptimo de la suerte, Guasave volvió a empatar el encuentro ahora a 4 anotaciones por bando, siendo Phillip Ervin quien anotó con elevado de sacrificio de Orlando Piña al jardin izquierdo.
En la parte alta de la novena, la escuadra sinaloense atacó al pitcheo de Tucson con poderso rally de 6 anotacioes que pusieron el juego enla congeladora10-4 para de esta manera quedarse con la victoria y empatar la serie en la ciudad sinaloense.
Garret Alexander cargó con la derrota mientras que la victoria se la apuntó el colombiano Luis Moreno.
